Can you be whoever you want?

Imagine if cultural norms were non-existent. I don't mean values or morals. I'm talking about pointless judgments. Imagine if there were no geeks, no nerds, no ugly people (whatever that means), no eccentrics. Imagine if you could wear whatever you wanted and no one said it was UNFASHIONABLE, or OUT OF DATE, or UGLY... just imagine if you could be whatever you wanted. Well here is an example of that. I think it is amazing!

Think about it. Then comment.

I'd really like to hear your thoughts.

i think in a big way that most people convince themselves that people are judging them on cultural norms - so they don't show anyone who they really are- instead they behave how they THINK others want them too...

my mentor taught me that 'what we think people are thinking about us most of the time DOESN'T EXIST! we create these ideas in our heads that we are being judged...that people don't have anything better to do than to watch us and judge (are we self-centered much or what???) :) ...when in fact everyone else is TOO BUSY worrying about their own SHIT to CARE about ours..."

So by starting to look at who you are (who you REALLY are), and starting to LIVE THAT PERSON, you will make yourself happier. And this world needs more happy people.

when/if others JUDGE their peers, it's because of their own insecurities/their own SHIT.

But, we live in a world where media/our economic structure capitalizes on people who are scared, who are insecure, who feel judged...who want to conform...

Judging highlights that the judg-er has ISSUES to deal with - and you can only hope that the judg-ee lets the judgment fly by and continue to live in his/her own awesomeness.

i just love thinking that if we woke up one day and all our possessions were gone, we were all together...naked...to face each other and have nothing to do but speak and show the world who we are...the HAPPY ones (the one who are comfortable in their own skins) are going to thrive :D
